After running track for University of Houston it was brought to my attention I should get into fitness (because I had the body for it) when I graduated but I did not want to do the diet. In 2000 I stopped training for the Olympics because I got frustrated w/ my results and took the rest of the year off. When I got back into working out I used the Body For Life by Bill Phillips workouts and liked what I saw. Plus in the community center (Fonde Recreation Center- where hometown NBA stars play pick up games during the summer) I was working out - there were pics of Lendy Murray. I told myself I can do it I just needed a diet so I went out and got all the fitness mags @ Borders but realized those diets were for those people. So I got on the net and did some research and came across a consultant named Prince Harrison, Owner of Optimum Fitness out of Dallas,TX. I told him I was interested in getting into bodybuilding or figure and I was looking for a Houston trainer. Since Prince is a bodybuilding show promotor he introduced me to his backstage manager Marty Reeder who lived in Houston and who had a good idea of who the trainers were. She gave me a trainer's name Jason Bard- (a NPC national competitor) and I met him and we have been working together since April 2003. We now train at One2One-Kirby location...
